"Children's
Adoption Fund": We are seeking
tax deductible contributions to our "Children's
Adoption Fund". All funds will
be used to establish a perpetual fund to
afford low interest long-term loans to prospective
adoptive families without current means
to afford an adoption. The interest and
principal from the repayment of these loans
will be returned to the fund to be used
to help other prospective adoptive families.
Currently we need corporate and individual
sponsors and contributors.

Handmade
Blankets...From the Heart...For the Children:
Many wonderful people have taken
their time and money to crochet and knit
a number of beautiful baby and children
size blankets. We would like to be able
to send them all overseas to the waiting
children, but unfortunately, Customs red
tape and the cost of doing so is prohibitive.
So we have come up with a plan! Please
help us help the children in the orphanages
by purchasing a handmade blanket, for
a minimum $20.00 donation (or $25.00,
including shipping costs). There are many
patterns and colors to choose from. We
will take the money from the sale of the
blankets and use it to benefit the children
in orphanages overseas.
We are also asking for your assistance
by donating handmade blankets or yarn.
If we have more blankets than we can sell,
all unsold blankets will be donated to
the local Social Services Department for
children in foster care. Please call 518-664-5988

office at 145 North Main Street, Mechanicville,
to purchase, or drop off a blanket.
Donated blankets and/or yarn can also
be dropped off at our Wilmington, NC location.
